Regional Workshop on Ultracold Atoms 2011
28 - 30 November 2011
ANU Field Station, Kioloa, NSW South Coast
The format for the conference will be somewhat unusual, with the aim of stimulating discussion.
It will consist of 7 sessions (2 hours each) with an invited speaker (45 minutes - see below), followed by a panel discussion on one of the Topics below. The panel discussion will comprise a presentation by the panel Chair (30 minutes - with input from all the panel members) of the state of the art of the Topic area, and where it is heading. This will then be followed by a general discussion for 45 minutes.
There will also be poster sessions in the evenings - see Workshop timetable. Ample time has been set aside for discussions - at the nearby beach or elsewhere.

Travel
All participants are expected to make their own way to Canberra, from where transportation by minibus will be arranged on the morning of Monday 28th November (LEAVING AT THE LATEST BY 10.00AM to arrive for lunch) returning the morning of Thursday 1st December (ARRIVING BY 13.00).
Travellers from Brisbane - we may arrange a separate minibus to meet QF953 the 8.35 am flight arriving at 11.25 am, which would get you to Kioloa in time for the first session (but missing lunch). Alternatively, you may wish to arrive the day before.
