Now that you've been gone a while,
Tamyka Bell
I've only just realised -
I am tingling from you touch.
I am tingling all over,
From my head to the tips of my toes.
My every instinct is awakened;
Every sense is brought to life.
My defences have been torn down;
My broken wings will not let me fly,
So here, in this place, I stay,
I sleep,
And when you return
I will rise to greet you,
And be with you once more.
