DRINK

I want to kiss you right now.
You're not nearby,
But that doesn't change a thing.
I want to hold you close,
To laugh and sing,
To watch the sunset by your side
And await whatever dawn may bring.
I want to kiss you, not just once.
I can't see you,
But that doesn't mean I can't feel you.
I want to cover you with my kisses,
To explore your skin with my lips,
To taste you.
I want to sit by your side
And drink in the beauty
Of all that surrounds us.
We should give thanks for what has been given,
This gift,
And never let it from our sight
Or slip between our fingers.
Let our feet fall softly on solid ground
As we calmly walk through our destiny.
