Just as I have chosen my path,
Tamyka Bell
So now do I choose to go back to this moment,
Or perhaps this moment chooses to return to me:
With your arms around me, as ever they will be,
When I first knew of you and felt your presence.
Leap forward many years to my rediscovery,
Long after memories had found their way into dreams
And dreams became their only roads
On which I wandered aimlessly,
Shrouded in a mist of ignorance,
Raised through the rains of disbelief.
Now, the rediscovery of all things fine,
As I found within your arms,
Has painted the darkness with glittering rubies
And washed the world with a golden stain.
