Sometimes, when I look into your eyes

I feel too close -
To knowing something I should not,
Could not, would not;
To being something that is not for me
Or something I may already be;
To you;
To all that is.
Other times, when I look into your eyes
I see you are distant.
Much time will pass
Before I am there.
