I touch you now with all of my soul.
You are the one that took these pieces
And made them into something whole.
I feel like a wanderer who just found a home -
You are the place that I belong.
I feel like a newborn held up in the sunlight -
You are the light that keeps me strong.
When I'm in the darkness I'm still not alone,
For even though you are far, far away,
A piece of you is entwined in my soul.
Though we must let go, the promise will stay.
