Twin_beams.xmds Karen Kheruntsyan Twin beams in an atom-molecular BEC; 1D simulation 10/11/2003
anharmonic.xmds Joel Corney Example damped anharmonic oscilator simulation using nu-P (+P with squeezed-state basis) function. Essentially a complicated set of coupled stochastic ODEs. Noise correlations are especially complicated, which slows things down. The equations are also not very stable (no gauges). 06/11/2003
anharmonic_p.xmds Joel Corney Example anharmonic oscilator simulation using +P function. 06/11/2003
breathingMode.xmds Magnus Ogren Example of how XMDS can use consecutive integration sections and an external real-parameter (mygamma). This code has been used to calculate breathingmode ratios for 1D BEC at T=0 in the intermediate interaction regime. 10/12/2003
canonical_bose.xmds Joel Corney Example grand-canonical, imaginary time calculation for an anharmonic oscilator using the thermal representation with gauges 06/11/2003
cgaugenoisethetaphi.xmds Mark Dowling Diffusion and complex drift gauge single mode bose field simulation 02/11/2003
doublewell_wigner.xmds Joel Corney Example: Bose-Einstein condensate in a double-well potential. Calculation is done in the Wigner representation, which is essentially the mean-field equation (GPE or NLSE) with initial vacuum fluctuations included. It uses MPI. 06/11/2003
full3d.xmds Tim Vaughan Simulates mean-field evolution of atomic/molecular BEC solitons on full 3D lattice 27/10/2003
heinzen.xmds Tim Vaughan simulates superchemistry dynamics in coupled atomic/molecular BECs in 3D assuming radial symmetry. 27/10/2003
parosc.xmds Joel Corney Parametric oscilator simulation using nu-P (squeezed +P) function Equations have pump adiabatically eliminated, to give 2-photon loss Noise correlations are very complicated, which slows things down Equations are also not very stable (no gauges yet) 06/11/2003
parosc_p.xmds Joel Corney Example parametric oscilator simulation using +P function Pump has been adiabatically eliminated, to give a 2-photon loss 06/11/2003
radsym.xmds Tim Vaughan Simulates mean-field evolution of atomic/molecular BEC solitons on 1D lattice and assumes radial symmetry 27/10/2003
raman_wigner_diff.xmds Joel Corney Fibre soliton (sagnac configuation) squeezing calculation in Wigner representation. Raman noise modelled by including a heap (10) of cross-propagating phonon modes. This is a really cumbersome thing to do at the moment in xmds. It would be a lot easier if one could simulate integro-differential equations in xmds (with nonlocal terms), or if arrays of fields could be defined. Also there is something funny going on with the initialization of the cross-propagating modes - it changes with the longitudinal (forward-propagating) coordinate, if the cross-propagating mode has some initial dynamics. 06/11/2003
thetaphinoise.xmds Mark Dowling Diffusion and complex drift gauge single mode bose field simulation (another one). 02/11/2003
total_energy_bigger.xmds Tim Vaughan Simulates full quantum (+P) dynamics of the evaporative cooling of a dilute Bose gas through the BEC transition temperature, calculating moments such as the centre-of-mass temperature along the way. 27/10/2003
